English summary

GYAct · Global Youth Action

An early-stage platform for the global network of Hispanic youth, incubated by FUNAJIT, a Dominican nonprofit founded in 2014. Our main site is in Spanish because our community is; this page summarizes it for international partners.

What we are building

Youth organizations doing similar work in different countries rarely share tools, data or know-how. GYAct connects Hispanic youth communities, chapters and partner organizations across countries and is building a shared operating layer for them: identity and membership, programs and events, verifiable credentials, volunteer recognition, chapter workspaces, an opportunity hub and a knowledge base, with AI built in.

Status

Exists today

Official FUNAJIT initiative (funajit.org/gyactnetwork); 11 signed cooperation agreements with organizations in seven countries besides the Dominican Republic (as of 7 October 2026); gyact.org domain and Google Workspace identity domain; FUNAJIT production systems the platform builds on (program portals, Model UN conference management, verifiable certificates and document seals, volunteer recognition app); engineering with Claude Code and Claude-connected operations through MCP with human approval.

In development

This platform site and partner intake; the chapter model (roles, data boundaries, standards); separating FUNAJIT-specific logic from reusable building blocks.

Roadmap

Chapter workspaces, portable credentials, opportunity hub with AI-assisted matching, community knowledge agent with cited answers, cultural adaptation and translation, chapter copilot with preview–approve–execute actions, network-wide impact analytics.
